****ing rubber rod hits my hood ....

So I was driving on my way to school going 45mph and some lady in a Beamer cuts me off and picks up with her back tires a rubber rod or a plastic rod and it smacks into my hood ... Now I have gashes not scratches and there are a few .... Of them

I'll post some pictures to see if you guys can help me out ...

In the mean time give mr some suggestions or if it's happened to you and what have you done??

A gash??? Is it dented or are you just saying that the scratch is through the paint and primer layers?

Lmfao bro with my luck it probably was a ***** from that stupid lady that cut me off..

And as for the gash! It's leterally a gash like you pass your finger nail over it and it goes in...

It went through the paint and primer... It's not white but it's that weak faded black
Color...

Any suggestions ?

Sounds like you're in for needing a repaint. They will repair the gash and repaint. Now way a gash is buffing out.

Depending on your state, insurance, and comprehensive deductible, you may be better off just having it fixed. Some insurance companies won't raise your premiums for comprehensive claims (such as this), but you would need to check with them.

how much you think it would. Cost to repaint just the hood ? Without the insurance ...

Cuz what I was thinking is not even doing that LOL I was going to buff it at home and just use the paint pen LOL

In the $500 range likely at a reputable shot.

that's not too bad .... Do you think a buff to make it smooth and paint pen will be a bad idea for now ?
