I picked up the new toy. There were a few things I wanted to address, namely the headlights and front bumper.

Headlights process:

-Compound with Optimum Compound via LC 4" yellow pad.
-Polished with PlasX by hand

Now for the paint:

Clay
Optimum Polish via 6" Orange LC Pad

looks good but i think you need to compound it more to get the crossfire out and the G37 to shine out

Looks great. I'm glad you posted the pics. I just used the Migliore Original Liquid Wax and wasn't sure about the appearance of it when applied. It looked like yours but seemed more oily than I'm used to and didn't get the whitish chalky look that I expected. The results were pretty good though.

I disagree. To me, black is by far the most rewarding color to detail.

I just got it done this weekend. She's in the garage this week, give me a couple of days to get a second coat on and snap some in sunny conditions outside.

I got a few shots of before I polished her with Menzerna SIP and PO106FF. Some with the ugly swirl marks, some 50/50 shots, and some of the finished product after finishing off with a coat of the Migliore Original Liquid Wax. The consistency of it was a surprise and it kind of smells like pine trees(?) or something. Not as appetizing as the Poorboy's World stuff, but it left a great shine. I'll post and send them to you if you like by the end of the week.

Thanks again for the Group Buy, great price.
