Ah damn, a little late on the discussion.
My mom bought me one thinking I could use it for my car... and I can tell you from personal experience that it's terrible. Thank goodness she bought only one. I still keep it in the car to wipe down my dash from dust or finger prints off the window and that's it.

this thing is full of ****. yeah, some towel can absorb water when water has gone underneath the carpet......you have to be really gullible to buy this thing and think it would work as advertise.
