Bird took a dump

Stupid bird nailed my hood on Sunday. It was sunny and 90 degrees out...I got it off within an hour or so but it still left a slight "ghost" behind that you can see from different angles. Black is tough enough anyway with out this stuff Suggestions, products,...?

Take some vinegar and water mix on a microfiber cloth and rub with it until the surface feels smooth. Then take some Mcguires pait cleaner(or similar product) and clean more. Then apply Zymol Paint cleaner(or similar product) -repeat as necessay.

By then the spot will be vastly improved. Buff with some Menzerna's intensive polish to finish it off.

Reapply 2 or 3 coats of wax to the affected area.

I have tried the clay bar and wax method and it didn't work. Its almost as if the clearcoat has been burned from the pH in the bird poo. Sucks monkey *****!
