UPDATE WITH PICS Never let dealerships touch your car! I just learned the hard way...
Well, I finally got them to take care of my TPMS that constantly had the light on. They replaced one of the sensors and now it's great....but, my car now has swirl marks on every panel.
I already had some from day one. I could tell it was from them prepping it. I'm not even in the mood to fight with them about it, then have them try to fix it. I just went a head and ordered all the gear from George at DI and I'll do it my self once the last part of our Minnesota Winter leaves. The **** part is I'll have to deal with them until it warms up. I might try to find a heated garage and do it, but I don't know if that's smart because there is still salt and sand on the roads and I'd probably end up doing it again.
George, you got any extra advice for me? The swirls aren't deep by any means, but I can see them all over. PO106ff should take care of them for me correct?
Here is a look at some of the swirls. Remember, the only thing to touch my car before the dealer had it was water to get ride of salt, and Poorboy's S&W with a Microfiber Waffel Weave towel to splot dry. You still can't really see the full amount of swirls, but you get an idea.

yess i found out the hard way too,
they curbed my AME rims and i didnt realize till couple days later.
they curbed both my fronts. im positive that i didnt do it myself coz i for sure know if i curbed the fronts.
the curbs are fixable, but i think they put some kind of stuff on the rims that left marks on the lip and its unfixable. i brought it to couple different rim shops including the ones that fellow members recommended and they said they cant do anything about it unless they cut the wheel and repolish, but they said they cant match how the AMEs are polished from Japan. they just recommend me to fix the curb rash, but not the scratches on the lip..
hella sux!!

Was this infiniti of bloomington?? i had the same issue with them and im waiting for the Minnesota winters to clear as well. My buddy who's goes to st. thomas was telling me to use his heated garage to prep up and detail my ride. havent taken him up on it yet. maybe in May i will. I purchased Zaino and some other stuff im itching to use. the winter sucks indeed.

Yes, it sure was. I ordered a Porter Cable and all the gear today from George at Detailed Image. I might find a heated garage to do it, not sure if I can hold out. Maybe if we get a 50 some degree day in March I'll do it.

About two months ago I purchased a Black G37. I've had it hand washed a few times but never detailed or taken through the car wash. When the car is clean and the sun reflects on it a certain way, I can see buff marks which look as though they came from a high speed buffer. Have any other owners of black or dark colors have this problem? Is there a solution? Is it permanent?
Is this something I should bring to the dealers attention when I have the cars 2,500 oil change? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated!!

A good orbital buffer and some good polish should take care of them. Go read the stickies on the top of this forum for more information. George from DI can help you out!

stupid dealership washed my car even though i told them not to. i told them i just cleaned the car and that it'll rain the following day anyway. but they still did. bastards left a ton of swirl marks on my car.
so i busted out my pc7424 and speed glaze 80. i'm already done with the hood and front fenders. i'll finish the rest of the car tonight. i'll try to post before and after pics.
