GTA Detailing - Orion

Just off the bat I want to say that I am not in any way affiliated with the place, just wanted to give the necessary compliments where great compliments are due. I just had my car detailed at Orion Detailing and Wes and his guys did an amazing job. If anybody in the GTA area is looking for a great place to have their car detailed this is certainly it. Here are some before and after picks:

+1 for WES he has been detailing my G on an annual basis. He will be doing mine again soon, once I get it out of the shop.

I have heard nothing but good things about Wes. I actually tried to setup an appointment but he claimed to need my car for 8+ hours. Is this true? My schedule doesn't really allow that, as my g is my DD.

He needs the car the for that long because he does a really marvellous job, not rushing like others. You'd drop the car off in the morning and pick it up at the end of the day.

Yah I understand, just hard to find a day when I can go without my car all day!

BTW did you have any scratches that were removed, or just paint swirls? And could you PM me with the price for this?

Thanks,

Next time I will be going to someone that actually does the work themselves. I have used this place before on my Bmw and the main person that started this place might not be the one who will detail your car. Speaking to him didnt spring the word passion to me.

its your car and your money, i would call around a few more places to get a feel for who would be doing the detailing. Its not easy to just go by online postings of work,as most of that work is done on more expensive cars, you definitely would not be getting treated like those! Dont get me wrong, the end result at this place was good, its just from all the good stuff i've seen posted of this place, my expectations were a little higher.

I have seen online postings of work of other detailers on more mainstream cars like Mazda 3s, Honda Accords and should have went to check them out as those cars were meticulously detailed. it didnt matter that those werent ultra expensive cars .

Bottom line is, check around and dont just automatically go to the one place you have in mind as you should also speak with other places and get a feel for who will be "actually" doing the work.
