Already installed.

Well....need to fully qualify that statement, and that is to say that my G is in storage and has never seen a flake of snow nor a grain of salt in its lifetime.

But yeah I can see why you are anxious....weather has been nice the last few days and all the snow is gone. If I were you I would wait a bit though....still the middle of March and we COULD still get some snow.

If this is your DD and you get caught in a snow storm with your summers on your are pretty much screwed dude. Your best bet in that case would be to have the car towed home on a flatbed.

Good thread. I've been sitting in my office watching the snow pile up all day. My week-old G is sitting in the parking lot. Of course, it's an S model, so it comes with that fantastic summer rubber.

I thought that by picking it up at the end of March I could get away with the summer tires until the fall. Wrong. Very, very wrong.

I guess I'll park it in my warehouse for the night and get a lift home from someone else tonight.

Summers are not going on for me ... my winters will reach the halfway mark soon so I'm not going to risk going next winter on my current set up ...

Burn out the current tires and slap on some new winters in the fall.

Saves me about $80 swapping / balancing rims this year -- that can go towards gas money ...
