Possible Part Out in the GTA
hey guys...so I was all ready to start parting out my car, and unfortunately the deal to sell my G fell through. I put the car up for sale in the local ads but unfortunately I never got an offer for what I was looking for, so at this point I am keeping her at least until the lease expires next April.
However, I have since bought and installed KW V3 colis so my lowering springs are available for sale. This is a mixed set of Eibach PK Fronts and Tein H Tech rears. I went with this combo because I felt that the Eibach's didn't lower the rear as much as I wanted and the Tein's lowered it about a 1/4 inch more which was exactly what I was looking for. You can see the stance these make in the pics on the first page of this thread.
With this setup you wont have any rubbing issues, so long as you trim the fender liner back at the rear and relocate the bumper bolt. This is about a 30 minute mod for any one competant with auto work.
Anyway the Eibachs have been on the car for 2 summers, roughly about 20k Kms and the Teins for 1 summer, roughly 10k. That said, springs really dont suffer from wear and tear so the mileag things isn't a big deal. I paid 325 for the Eibach PK and 275 for the Teins, and I am asking $175 for the set.
I will set up a for sale thread in the Canadian section as well. Please PM me if you are intereseted. Willing to meet up in the GTA.
