Eventually after you guys left there were 3 GT-R's in the parking lot and my old buddy from the M days with his modded GT-R was there and we got a ride in his beast (Ron got to drive it before he left... ) Woah the sound of BOV's going off while going at insane acceleration is just too much.

Tigtr-to invite STI to our next meet so I can drive his GT-R Pleeeeeease!

 

I missed the other GT-R. Apparently he just got it a few days prior to the meet!

Definitely was great meeting you all! Had to take-off for a bit but by the time I got back the lot was almost full! A few tuned Porsche's and Vette's were there and SEI was giving rides like crazy!

I'll let SEI and the other GT-R guys know of any more meets (I'll post here to when we have ours as well).

I can't believe Ronnie got to drive the GT-R before me and he doesn't even like the car!!! SEI let us drive his MZ4 when we first met years ago. Maybe next time.

 

Well it will be tough getting an R32 or R33 seeing as how the government has just changed the rules of the road - any vehicle must be 25 years or older now to be imported if it is not on the approved list.

Haha yeah, I got pretty freaked as well since I want to get a skyline in a few years as well (less than 10 years from now though!).

But it was a good joke! lol.

 

I checked and there are 3 R33 GT-R's for sale in trader and one R34 that got here through ?????.

I'm going to crash one of the local Skyline meets to see one of these R33's up close. Any of you GT-R guys know when these meets are planned? Maybe the G37's can tag along too!

 

Look on Kijiji as well, there are a few R33's up there (as well as numerous R32s).

That R34... well I wouldn't buy it. It was (supposedly) brought here as two cars cut in half, and then welded into one car. It is the only way to get an R34 here, unless you wait until 2014 for the first batch of R34s (1999 models). It is registered as an 08 Nissan R34 GTR I think. On ebay it had a "home-built" title.

When the first R34s get here, prices will be RIDICULOUSLY high. It will be disgusting I think haha. 2016 would probably be a good time to buy an R34... but crap that seems too long from now! lol
