Hi all, I drive an EX35 and will be ordering a G37S coupe next week. I've driven the G37X but still intend on ordering the S. I know I would regret not going with the S.

People have warned me that the S is impossible to drive in snow. I've owned a 280ZX and a BMW535 and had no trouble in the snow. With the limited slip differential I don't think it would be worse than those two cars. Feed back would be appreciated.

The S is only impossible to drive in the snow if you leave the stock summer only tires on. I put Blizzaks on my and it's fine in the snow.

That's not an option. 4 winter tires are obligatory on the roads in Montreal from Dec 15 to March 15. Even when it wasn't a made sure all the cars in my family always had four ice radials.

What are you talking about? You asked people for feedback on how the G37S handles in the snow. I said it's fine as long as it has snow tires on. I have provided you with feedback as you requested. The LSD is nice but the big saviour is the VDC.

Thank you for the feedback. I only meant that I wouldn't think of driving without snow tires in the winter. Did you keep the same size as the summer tires?

Sorry John, I just read on the other thread that you are running 18" Blizzaks.

Yup, I put on 18" Blizzaks. I just got the same size all around; I didn't stagger them. The stock G37S tires are wider in the rear.

Yes I know and that's why I think what you did makes more sense than using 19"
