Cash sale pricing and how high should I go?
So I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a G37x (fully loaded). What I'll do first is get the invoice pricing and confirm the $4000 off for cash sale.
I assume a good deal would be: invoice - $4000 cash incentive from Infiniti + small mark-up (5%?).
Can I expect to do better than this?
I'm willing to shop around and take my time... I will also be clear in the offer that I need to do a full inspection before delivery and make sure no little scratches, steering column is straight ect...
Also - how much deposit is reasonable when making an offer ?

APA is a consumer based group that does a lot of good work to protect consumers, like investigate which used car dealers are being shady, which repair shops, etc. If you live in the GTA, they'll definitely have a guaranteed pre-negotiated price on Infiniti. What that means is, you will have a concrete number where you know how much you can expect to pay, instead of "add 5% to invoice", which is a total guess where you can be overpaying a lot depending on market conditions. You don't have to do any haggling at all with the guaranteed price.
Back when I was in sales for Honda, APA's guaranteed pre-negotiated prices was better than what 90% of people could negotiate on their own, it's definitely worth it. Another worthwhile group is CarHelpCanada, who can refer you to a dealer who'll give you a good deal too. Both services are better than CarCostCanada
get those report i bought mine at the beginning of june, end of may, and purchased it for $200 above the dealer's cost. The only reason it was $200 over is cause they asked for a little money so i just gave it to them, otherwise would of got it for cost. Also got free tint, winter maters, leather protections, wheel locks n touch up paint.
My advice go visit a dealer thats close to you, see how much they offer, tell them you will be back. Go shop around other dealers, you dont have to necessarily go there just speak to them over the phone, start throwing out numbers from the report and try to get them to give you that say that another dealer offered that but i want to go with you guys. Once you get the price thats the best go to the dealer closest to you offer then the same price and tell them they gave you all the stuff i mentioned above for free, you should more or less get the best price.
good luck
