It has been almost 2 yrs since the G37 came out, & we've yet to have 1 meet. I can only conclude we're a bunch of lazy *****.

That's the spirit! Really, a get-together is just so we can meet and talk about our passion for our cars. What's wrong with meeting a few g drivers? Or share some knowledge...etc...over a cup of coffee? I had a WRX (hence the screen name) once. I remember there was always a meet every Sunday. Still going on. Guess what? Other than a couple of STi's, most were reg. Impreza's with no mods. But they get together anyways because of their passion for their cars and meeting new people. It's something we g owner's lack imo.

 

So when is the meet? I'll be game if I am not detailing that day.

So, we are on this Sunday about 6:30pm at Kenndy Commons.

 

Don't know if the meet is on but I can't make it

 

I'm going to take a "wild" guess that there was no meet, GTA G37 owners FTL! (for the laziness).

OT but I went to a nice Chinese place today, payed for by my friend's parents (I negotiated a Benz for them, I didn't want to but they insisted on treating me to a meal). It worked out to $60/person, which was quite expensive for a Chinese restaurant IMO (I'm used to eating like cheap $10-$20 person Chinese restos, unless it's a Chinese seafood place).

Yeah, I'm sure there are tons of GTA G37 owners who spend much more on meals, but it was highly unusual to me that a Chinese place would charge that much (we did have some seafood, but not lots). Food was good but not that good, glad I wasn't paying. I don't mean that Chinese restos can't be expensive, just rare to me as I grew up near Chinatown & am not accustomed to such prices.

 

You probably guessed right that there was no meet this weekend. Perhaps we should set something up this weekend instead. Any takers?
