Yeah I'm in Hamilton, drove yesterday in the midst of it. I took it easy cuz it's a new car, and I have the AWD. You could feel that it was slippery, but in general I had no problems. I'm more worried about the other drives on the road actually......

Nope. Are you crazy? lol

I saw so many cars stuck on the road at an intersection (stopping + no traction = ftl).

i got my winters blizzaks on and they do a pretty good job in the snow and the traction control does a very good job. i havent gotten stuck yet and we have about 8 inches of snow right now. the main roads are not too bad as they have been getting plowed but the sid roads are a bit more dicey. i will post some pics soon of my dirty g in the snow.

This car just doesn't like snow (yes, I've had other RWD cars before). I have Blizzaks & had trouble getting the car up my driveway (a bit of an incline) even though the snow wasn't that bad. 18" snow tires are just not an optimal size probably, because my IS300 had 16" snow tires & performed better (despite using inferior tires to the Blizzaks).

Yeah, the snow was pretty bad. I just bought an '09 G37X (AWD) and I also got Hancook winter tires on it. Amazing control, but not perfect. It still slips, but I figured better to be safe and get winters on this beauty...
