my winters - 18" BSA 264's & blizzak's

Found a set of winter rims from a former G35 owner that fit the G37S!
18x8 BSA 264 rims with Blizzak LM-22's, used for 2 winters.

Originally I was going to buy these rims new, but got real lucky on kijiji and got a good deal for $1,000
However, the tires are a bit smaller than the ideal size though - thats why the wheelgap looks bigger than they're supposed to be. (tires are 225/45R18, instead of tirerack's recommended 225/50/R18)

The version I have are 40 offset, but apparently the 24 offset version works also. The 40 offset version fits inside the wheel well a little bit though.

There's about 1 cm clearance for the brakes. (8mm to be exact)

FYI, if any of you guys are in Toronto and need a good deal, the best I could find locally was the RFD groupbuy with Simply Tire (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/s...d.php?t=639602). I was quoted $620 for the 18" BSA 264's, and $760 for Hankook W300 in 235/50R18 (not including tax, so it works out to around $1500 all in, and there's a groupbuy discount of $50 on top of that).

Now I'm ready to drive to Tremblant this winter!

Yep, $1000 on kijiji for 18" rims and blizzak's (used for 2 winters, but plenty of tread)

Before I found the used deal, I was pretty much set on getting those same rims and hankook W300's, both new for $1500 all in. if substitute for blizzak LM-25's, it would've been $1800 all in.

No TPMS in any of these prices listed. I think I can live without 'em!

Glad you posted pics. I just picked up the EXACT set from kijiji myself but with Pirelli tires, used one winter, same ofset as well. My car is ALSO white so great to see them on there. I snagged them for $750 though!

I knew the 40 offset would be tucked a bit, thanks for the details!

Wow, that's a hot deal!

BTW i drove around the block with 1 of the rims mounted on and didn't feel any vibrations - but I didn't have a chance to test it out at highway speeds though. I ended up getting a set of hubcentric rings anyways, just in case of potential vibrations.

I also went from a TL to the G37

Hey, I went to Wheels Direct last year and they quoted me those rims with LM-25s for a whopping $2100. I pointed at the guy and laughed in his face (not really) and got better rims with LM-25s for $300 less. Too bad when I got the car it was already January and (new or used) snow tires/wheels were scarce.

Good deal, rusty!

Are most putting 225/45's on the front and 245/45's on the rear?

225/45/18 are all around on mine. Just saw on here before I grabbed them that lots of people were running them.

tirerack recommends 225/50R18 all around

most local shops recommend 235/50R18 all around

I've got 225/45R18, but that's not an ideal size as it's about 3% smaller circumference compared to the OEM circumference. I'll probably switch to 235/50R18 when I need new tires, as there are more choices in that size. 225/50R18 is only Blizzak LM-25's.
