Window Tint

Anyone in Calgary or Edmonton get their G37's tinted yet?
Just wondering where you guys went and how much it cost. Also, did they remove the door panels to tint the fronts? If so, any problems w/ windows malfunctioning or getting the panels back on?

Thx

I got mine tinted through Eriksen Infinity.I think it was about $300. I think they had it sent to Aero Spoilers or something. The workmanship is fine. The only problem I have is that there is a little 1-800 sticker about 1" long and .5" wide in the small window behind the drivers side. As I didn't specifically request the sticker be removed, they tinted right over it. It was a real amateur move. I think that common sense (for a tinting company) should have prevailed over customer instructions (or lack thereof).

O well, aside from that it looks amazing. Regardless of where you take the car, make sure you tell them exactly what you want right down to the finest detail.

Hyatt did mine before delivery, undoubtedly they used Hyatt's Detailing division. But they did have a fellow do it on site so it could have been a different company. I somehow doubt it though. Not sure if they had to remove the door panels, I don't see why, I don't think they needed to on the G35C so it probably would be same with the G37.

Sorry for the late reply, it was definitely more than what I could have gotten if I had looked myself, but I didn't have the time to do that. It was around $300 I had back three 35% and front 2 50%. I had a car that was 20% on back three and it was just way too dark, during nighttime you could barely see the cars behind you, so I tried moving up a bit.

The 35% I have to say is a good combination of looks in the day and night and visibility from the inside. The front windows are up to you since it is illegal, however the 50% is so light it almost appears that there is no tint, however it helps alot with the gradient transition of tint on the car. I don't have any pics right now but I am trying to get some up sometime soon.

Sorry for the delay.

I got my tint done for free. The main reason was that when I took delivery of the car, they had put the new tires on for me (19" Blizzaks for winter). Apparently, on the front left tire, there was a mark from the air lug nut remover. (very small scratch). They offered to replace the entire rim for me or said that they could have the scratch repaired and give me a $500 credit. As the scratch was hardly noticeable, I chose to have it repaired. I used a portion of the credit $300 to have the windows done. (I had a high-performance tint put on... whatever that is lol)

The wheel was repaired and honestly, you can't even see the scratch at all.
