Checked Out G37 At The Dealership
i spoke with an infinity rep today regarding what you've said and they told me thats not true they will warranty everything as if i were living in the US says so in thier warranty info on the web site and also in the owners manual.
. I actually feel bad as I'm sure most dealership would discount the car in a second if higher echelon would give the green light.I'm gonna hold back, I am in no rush of getting rid of my current ride. I would prefer buying the car up north myself just because I'm lazy to go through the hassle of bringing it back up (not totally shutting that idea either though). Plus we will get 1% cut back on GST after January. Don't get me wrong, if Infiniti Canada would sell the car at discount right now, I would get it right away.
A little personal question if you don't mind, how are the sells in Toronto after the initial "new car rush"? In Ottawa, including both dealerships, I don't think more then 6 were sold in total. I have not seen the car on the road at all and I'm acutally paying attention to that. I saw a Pontiac G6 coupe (or was it G5?) and actually thought that was it (have never seen a g37 on the road, give me a break
) .

BTW, finally some life in this subdorum
Last month, it looked like we were picking up like usual business day. Number of sold unit as of Oct 31/2007 didn't look so bad consider the fact that we are facing all these situations. Compare to last year of the same month, though, we can tell it is hurting business.
P.S> Sorry that I can't give you exact number we did
We are still pushing double figure after all these situation.

Sorry for beating a dead horse, but I just heard on the TV news this afternoon from a well known Journalist that Infiniti and Nissan are readjusting their price just like Dodge Chrysler already did. The way he was talking made me think that it was already done and he was telling everyone to wait for Toyota and Honda to make their move before purchasing a new car.
I'm gonna contact my local dealership to confirm. If this turn out to be true, and that the G37 is included in the price readjustment, then I may be getting one in January to take advantage of the 1% GST cut

Very tempting
I'm actually gonna try to get a bigger discount with my local dealership (I know someone there) cause Infiniti's cutback is nowhere near the price difference between US/Canada pricing.

An infiniti salesman told me once.. if i order my car in janurary i'd get it by march.. and that's pefect cuz winter will allmost done(i hope)... Now they said if i want it by march.. order it by december.... and when i went outside to see their parking lot.. they had nine g37s... 4 of them were exactly what i wanted.. i'm a little worried if i doo order it in december orrr janurary.. is there any chance they might give me one of the cars they didn't sell in between the months? one of the cars that were sitting there alllll winter?..
