Go for it. If it were me, I'd try to get the newer of the two - Q60. G37 already had the midnight grille and aftermarket spoiler to cover up the chrome one which is a plus. Also looks like it has darker than factory tint which is a plus in my book.

Ask for pictures of the hood popped on the G37. I don't see a CAI through the grille but you can verify at least. Nothing wrong with it if you see anything aftermarket, but I'd want the one that was definitely untouched and so far it looks like the Q is a blank slate.

Cool, thanks for the heads up info about looking for aftermarket additions. I noticed it did have a darker tint and the grille and spoiler are black already which is great.

I'll ask for that through email about seeing the hood popped up. Asides from that, I think I'll schedule a test drive! And check out the Q60 while I'm there.

Okay I'll be stopping by Friday! I booked an appointment with a mechanic via yourmechanic.com to do a PPI for me at their dealership since there didn't seem anything reputable nearby. I'll be checking out the Q60s. I didn't see a carfax report online for it but hopefully it all checks out.

They'll be appraising my mazda cx-5 too while I'm there. I'll see who offers more between them and carmax.

Cool, Google the VIN number of the Q60. see if any info pops up via auction site - surefire way to tell if it's been wrecked.

IDK you already purchase or not but just give you idea what I'm paying for. I'm going to purchase 2012 G37 Convertible from Carmax that ran 24k miles on and include premium, sports, technology and performance packages and only one owner without any events and accidents, clean title. Price was $22990 + $399 transfer fee from other state. I think extremely good price for convertible trim. It's on a way now, can't wait to see it.

Oh wow. Sounds like a nice find! Well I settled on transferring over a 2013 g37 coupe w/33k miles and sport package from a CarMax in FL for $249. $24,998 price though. Looks clean from my side. They told me it may take up to two weeks to arrive.

Thanks for the info!

CarMax is only good if you buy a car that needs a lot of warranty work. Buying a G which is really reliable via CarMax, you are just paying more for the car with no added benefit.

Ahh, so paying a premium for nothing then. I did research these are very reliable. The only closest G37 I want is over 500 miles away from me at the moment!

I think it's reasonable, depending on location - check out the vehicle history for yourself and try to negotiate based on other area sell for acv
