I am currently debating purchasing this 2011 G37x w/ 47k
The car is listed at $17,400 and comes with the premium and technology packages
It's a one owner car with a clean carfax and detailed service records at every oil change and manufacturer service recommendations
The car is in great shape aside from the front bumper. The front bumper had a crack and the dealer sent the car to an auto body shop. The auto body shop painted and installed a new OEM front bumper.
This is the only body work done on the vehicle, but I am having second thoughts when it comes to the color matching. I know that matching paint is difficult, especially when you're comparing plastic to metal, but the difference is something I'd surely notice. However, the car is mechanically sound and the price is competitive - so I don't want a minor blemish to pull me from an otherwise great deal
I don't think i would pass it up because the front bumper was repainted. Paint normally does look a shade or two different when it comes to plastic vs metal. On the plus side you will have no rock chips on the front bumper
Seems like a pretty good price, given that it's being sold by a dealer. Judging by the picture, I honestly can't tell that it was repainted. Maybe it has fewer metallic flakes in it?
Alternatively, you can hold out for a sport package if you don't need to have awd. There's more goodies for a small bump in price - sport seats, wheels, big brakes, suspension, etc.
Color match doesn't look too bad really. If that's your only hang up I say go for it. Only you can really say though. If it drives you nuts it's not worth it.
But I have GROM AUDIO USB3 lol, also at the price hes paying the dealer, they have their little "prep fees, dealer fees, etc"........Mine is straight 18k, and I can help him with taxes.
