G37 to a Q50 HYBRID AWD! Officially a dad
So I'm officially a dad, have a three month old baby girl. Hence I got rid of my 2010 G37X that I invested a lot of time energy, and love into over the past three years. I will miss her.
Earlier this week I leased a 2014 Q50 AWD HYBRID. 360HP and 28city/35 hwy MPG. It's actually a beast. It jumps better off the line then my G and shifts are very smooth. The interior is very comfortable and I'm impressed with the newest technology from the dual touch screens, the battery/gas meter, the way it showcases the different driving modes etc.
I think I got a good deal, $1,300 down including taxes and dealer fees and $353 per month. I originally test drove the last 2014 Q50S AWD they had on the lot but they sold it while I was test driving it! That was a great car too. They tried to muscle me into paying more for the hybrid since it's $5-6K more MSRP, but we told them it's not our problem that they sold the previous car right from under me and I didn't plan on paying more for the hybrid.
Here are some pics of my before (single life) and my new married with children life LOL. I couldn't be happier though. I have a great wife/daughter and I really like the Q50 Hybrid. I will be less tempted to mod a hybrid too because that defeats the entire purpose of having a hybrid. Maybe some wheels and a drop, after I pay for diapers.
I'm still going to hang around the forums selling a few remaining parts and seeing what's happening in the G scene. I really enjoyed my time in the G and there are a lot of great people on here. Enough talking, here are some pics:

Jaymill: Congrats! nice before and after too! I had a Q 3.7 loaner for a night, and I loved it. Very smooth ride, overall a nice, refined feel. I actually considered crossing over, but I've invested quite a bit of time and effort into the G, and she still treats me well
N_jay888: beautiful work bro. That has to be the nicest one that I've seen yet. I haven't seen many modded Q's around at all. Love how the tails came out especially on the black. Keep it up.

Holy Crap!
I wish I could live with a lease (20K miles per year on average). You're paying less per month than I am on a 2011 G37X which I bought used 2 months ago. I didn't have to come out of pocket $1300, but still, I would have for the Hybrid.
Knowing that you saved even more however, tells me this is just a unique sweet deal, and not something I should expect.
