Looking for any leads (preferably within reasonable distance of Indiana) for a G37 sedan 6MT. These things are impossible to find.

So out of curiosity, was the 6MT sedan available for 2013? I am getting mixed information from Infiniti if it even is available (or was available for a certain time).

also theres this it only has 10 miles on it but its marked as used... delivery an option?

 

6MT only comes as part of the Sport package. in other words 6MT = sport.

the G37 is not a "luxury" sedan, it is an entry-level luxury-sport sedan. similar to a 3 series, A4, Cadi ATS - all of which offer 6MTs. big difference to a luxury sedan - i.e. MB S-class, Audi A8, BMW 7-series, etc...

 

Inspector- thanks for the links. The 1st one is actually an automatic if you look at the pictures, and the 2nd one would have to cost a fortune to get it delivered, but maybe not? Maybe it could be delivered fairly easy?

 

Early MY13's came with the 6MT options.

RWD manual doesn't sell well. They ate the hardest to move so there aren't many of them. Sure BMW Audi and Cadillac all have manual models but they also have different drivetrains as well, which is open to a wider range of customers. RWD + Northeast isn't a fun mix, but hey that's what a beater is for hehe

Better yet, live on AutoTrader.com, like 3 or 4 times a day. And be patient, really patient. At any given time, there's usually a half-dozen 6MT Sedans on AutoTrader. OP, the 6MT Sedan can be found, as long as you're willing to travel to pick it up, or pay for shipping.

Totally worth the effort, too.

 

Completely agree with Rochester. OP, I am in Indiana as well (Fort Wayne), and I checked AutoTrader every day for about 2 years for a 6MT Sedan. Nothing ever came up within 200 miles until one day 2 showed up at a dealer in Indy, one of which I ended up buying. As Rochester said, you just have to be patient and persistent. Good luck!

 

Two years! Yikes! That's a level of patience that's beyond me. I only trolled for 3 months before finding my car. It was less than a year old, with 3900 miles on it. I figured the 400 mile distance was just a train ride away, so I made a day of it. If you're willing to travel to pick up your car, it can be a big adventure. And then you have a cool back-story to go with the car.

Out of curiosity, I just looked, and there are 8 G37S 6MT Sedans within 300 miles of Indianapolis right now. And 61 nation-wide. So I guess the added two years of production has really made a difference. In other words, it should be easy to find what you want today, much more so than two years ago. Assuming you cast a wide net.

That Vibrant Red 2013 6MT in Knoxville TN is pretty hot, under $32 with only 7700 miles. Tech Package, too.
