Brand perception surveys are great. Toyota scores best and Scion is 5th worst. And the bottom 4 scores are all luxury brands. Makes sense...

 

Nah like the Poll said it is all about perception Any car can be a good car if Taken care of. Doesn't make sense that a Scion and worst and a Toyota is the best. They are made by the same manufacturer

Last year the G37 was consumer reports #3 car and the M was in the top ten of all vehicles and makes.

 

The entire survey was 1500 particpants. Not enough input to obtain usable results.

 

This is a survey based solely on people's perception of the brand, not from any actual experience owning or driving them. The average consumer thinks Toyota's are great cars. And in many ways they are. But the fact that the bottom scores are expensive luxury name plates tells me that perhaps there's a little hatin' going on. It's a pretty safe bet that most Rolls Royce or Maserati owners don't think their cars are crap. But people who can't afford them might like to view them that way.
