I can't say enough good about this dealership, and their service. Bought my 09 there in 09, and they have always done a great job.
So I took it in this week since my warranty is expiring 11.04.13. I asked them to look it over and see if they could find anything that might need warranty repair. Here's what all they did:
I got out paying for a $115 alignment that I requested. Those guys are great. How many other dealerships would hand you a "24 point checklist" and send you on your way?
Last year they replaced my battery and the plastic that goes around the cockpit dash. They have also flashed my tranny 2x on my request. Numerous other minor fixes at no cost to me.
Free loan car all the time, too. The car is in perfect condition, 4 years old with 40,000 miles.
I'm a Sewell customer for life.

- Repaired the little black rubber mud flap in front of the left rear wheel well. It was loose.
- Replaced the black rubber on my steering wheel that was all scuffed up. They have a harder plastic that doesn't scratch.
- Adjusted the dashboard to repair a rattle that was bothering me. I thought it was the front end.
- Adjusted my hood stops to remove a rattle.
- Replaced wiper washer jets that were clogged.
- Replaced my steering rack. They said it had a small leak and it would have cost me $1,800.
- Replaced my A/C compressor. I complained that it was making more noise than it used to (likely $1,500).

Wish mass had dealer like that. When to a local dealer for suspension squeaks .
They told me it was going to cost $140 just to look at it because I have aftermarket exhaust and am dropped :/

Perhaps I am misunderstanding how dealerships works, but I always thought that Infiniti reimburses dealerships for the costs of warranty work. With that said, would it not make sense for all dealerships to do warranty work that can obviously be shown to be an issue with manufacturing? Why would they give a customer the run-around if they were getting reimbursed for the work anyways? Unless I am missing something. Maybe someone who works at a dealership can clarify for me.
And ANMVQ, I am not 100% sure, but I would think that the reason they are requiring payment to investigate your suspension squeak is because you lowered the car. I believe that involves some component of the suspension. It could have been an issue with your aftermarket part, so they would not be reimbursed for any work they would do. That is why they have to charge you. It is a business, after all.

Some dealers can't warranty too many of X parts since they are high in those repairs... or they run the risk of an audit, or are already on an audit watch.
Yes I realize they get reimbursed for their work, and doing warranty work does keep their mechanics busy and employed... but they did take the time to look, and they cared. I've never had a dealership do that.
