Need some help from the lease gurus...

I decided to post in another thread, since this was part of my other thread and didn't get many responses.

I am thinking of getting a lease on a G37 Sedan and want to know how I can do that by trading in my vert. I owe 14 more payments for a balance of $8300. I don't want to end upside down on this, but I really love the 2013 sedan and want to do a lease. I am worried if I wait till my current lease is up, I won't be able to do a lease and then my only choice will be to buy used, which is not my preference. I am new to leasing, so didn't know how this would work when trying to do a trade in. The car has low miles and is nearly perfect.

Any and all help would be appreciated. I am looking at a 2013 G37 Sedan-Moonlight White and Graphite Leather/Shodo Aluminum, auto transmission, Premium, Sport and Navi packages. MSRP is $44855, but I am sure I can get that below $40K for sure.

TIA

2011 black obsidian, auto, stone interior, 16k miles, sport, navigation and premium packages. Residual is $32028, $35320 trade in per edmunds, payoff is $38K including my $5400 MSD. Without it, it is around $32K. Pay $590 per month. Have payments till March 2014.

There isn't a good way to get out of an Infiniti lease without taking a huge lost.

Your best bet of getting out of an Infiniti lease early is to make sure you have gap insurance on the car and stage a phony auto theft.....
The key to this is make sure that you park the car at the bottom of a lake to ensure that the car can not be recovered!!

I agree with Joker. Or another option would be to set it on fire off of your local highway or tollway. At least there will be no fingerprints that way.

Let me ask you something, are you looking for the Rwd or awd? How far you willing to drive if its the right deal? I got 47 sedans I need to get rid of. I wouldn't mind putting some numbers together for you.

Rwd and I actually prefer the smoky quartz color instead of white with graphite interior. Depends on how far it is but I am in Louisiana.

Good luck. Anything is possible. I would bet come 3rd or 4th quarter when they are trying to clear out the 13's, you could work something out...I am hoping there will be some sort of pull ahead program.

Oh, and Smokey Quartz FTW!!

Yeah. I requested some quotes from a dealer on the car but if I can't get what I owe plus the msd I am just gonna wait it out. I don't want to lose $5400.

All I got are AWDs and im in nebraska. BTW you could qualify for a 3 month pull ahead program. If you are in a lease, they will knock up to 3 months off. Im not 100% if its available in every market it but I know it is here.

Basically, If your eligible, Infiniti Eats up to 3 months off your current lease. I haven't gotten the restrictions/requirements yet, they told us in the meeting this morning. Call up your Infiniti Dealer that has the sedan that you want and ask them if they are doing it. It might be regional.

So basically they get the car early and I don't pay those payments. I then turn over the keys and get my msd's back, less any fees in the contract or any excessive wear and tear.
