New user, thinking of purchasing.

So up to this point I have been looking for a g35 coupe, until i test drove this g37 coupe, which is located real close to where i live. This thing is perfect, the color combo i want and its a 6 speed. I test drove it and everything felt good. Might have an aftermarket exhaust, not sure, maybe you guys can verify on the pics. But what would be a good price for this car? The g35 would definitely be within my price range but sometimes a good deal comes around, you know what i mean haha. Also I live in SoCal, so i know prices around here can be higher then other places. Here is a link of the car.

PS. NO navigation also

Very nice looking car, but I wouldn't ever buy a previously moded car. That's just me...

You don't really know what's been done (and then undone) to the car. I'm a bit overly picky but if I got a moded car and then heard creaks and squeaks and stuff going wrong with the suspension and/or interior it would absolutely drive me insane and I'd feel like I got a bad deal regardless of the price I paid.

Based on the age and mileage, there should still be a factory warranty. You'll want to get confirmation from an infiniti dealer that it'll be honored even with the mods before you buy.

oh price, right....I've seen an '09 w/ 46K miles coupe 6MT sport w/ navigation for $28K at carmax in Irvine (no haggle dealer). So, $25K is a fair value IMO.

However, if they advertised it at $25K, they're probably trying to get $23K out of it....($2K) less than fair value, leads me to assume mods reduce the value of a car.

BTW, can't see the exhaust. Anything updated in the engine compartment? Get a list of all mods before you buy and study each of them.

Thanks for the replies....the engine bay looked stock to me. What are some mods I should look for that would be a little harder to notice?

Nice looking G..However I agree with Dgglr. I always like to buy my cars stock. Even if they are used. You never know what the pervious owner did to it. Im sure there are other 6mts out there for that price for less.
