2008 Infiniti G37 Sport

Greetings, I'm might be purchasing a 2008 Infiniti G37 Sport manual soon. The car has around 39K miles on it. It does not have premium package or Nav. It does however have the moonroof.

Is 22K a reasonable price for this car?

Sounds reasonable to me. If I were to sell my 08 G37S with 40k on it on the private market, I'd want about 22k, give or take.

I think you may be able to do better. Coming from someone who bought the G like the one your describing, if you can, I say you Go with one that has at least premium package

From a private party thats a good deal. Dealers would charge 25k for that car easily. I was actually going to go look at a car today without about the same stats but priced at 26k, but now I'm really having second thoughts. I prefer to buy from a private party, but there haven't been ANY fairly priced IPs or MWs in my area and I live in the Bay Area which you think there would be tons of options but there's just isn't...tons of silver and platinum, but I need white.

Well, my visit to the dealership went different from what I expected. I saw and test drove the car. The interior has a lot more wear than I was comfortable with and the brakes were weird (The car shook when I braked). They are replacing the rotars and pads giving me new tires for 23.8K out the door. (That is tax and fees included. MD has 6% tax). This car was at a Nissan dealership. If I finance for 72M @ 5.99 like they offered me I'll be paying $400 a month.

I was just curious and went to a nearby Infiniti dealership. They offered me a 24M lease @ 399.99 with only $500 down. This is for a brand new 2012 with 10miles. The car is automatic though with premium package. There is no 6spd coupes within 250 miles new . I am not sure if I should take this.

Info on the lease:
MSPRP 45030
INVOICE 41530
Sale price 38233
Residual 72%
Money factor .00019

Monthly 399 with 899 (500 + 1st month payment) down

I can get a brand new coupe or a beat up used for the same monthly.

Does the lease sound like a good deal? Can I do better?

5.99 is high I would go to a credit union if you have good credit your interest rate would be half that. I'm not a fan of leases at all. You end up paying 10 grand for the use of a car for 2 years and walk away empty handed. The only way I could justify that is if I was really wealthy and I like having the newest model every two years or something, but to me it seems like a waste particularly because I'm into heavy modification. I say hold out for a car that has a cleaner interior and no break problems because if the breaks felt that bad who is to say that new rotors will fix the problem. The sales people are just guessing.
