Leasing G37xs

I'm new to leasing any help would be appreciated. I have an 08 G37s, trading it in on a '12 G37xs fully loaded.

So far the dealer found one msrp $48K, he told me my payment will be $469 with $1500 down and trade with 10 milles per year. No Money factor yet or residual.

Anything I should know or ask going into the deal?

Thanks,

dee

You need more information- definitely the residual and money factor. Also, at $48k I hope that G37 is fully loaded..it must have tech package, aero, etc to be up that high. And if you are going to lease for only 10k miles I recommend you be sure you only drive that much...no one really drives only 10k miles.

Which dealer are you working with? I see you're from Winchester. I bought mine from Infiniti of Chantilly, they were great to work with and I got an excellent deal.

get a list of any/all fees as well as the MF. Most of us are too lazy to do the reverse lease math for you

They are robbing you blind on the MF...in May it was .00016 on the G37X Coupe, shouldn't have changed much for June. Your rent should only be around $5 bucks a month at the most so your payment should be around $370 or so. Other then that, it's a good deal as they're selling you the car at a great price.

You are paying an extra $3510 in interest over the term that you shouldn't have to. It could be they don't want to give you that low price along with the base MF...but it's still ridiculous.

A fair price on that car is 44,000 WITH the base MF of .00016. That would increase your base payment but cut the "rent" charge to $5 or whatever it should be, but certainly no more than that. They need to meet you in the middle here..otherwise you are still paying almost $46k for the car which isn't much of a discount.

I'm not sure who you're dealing with there but you need to speak with George, the internet manager. He didn't try to BS like this when I bought my car..
