National Search to find my G!

Hey guys - I know I've been all over the place throughout my deployment regarding different G's and getting as much information as I can about specs, pricing, models, and whatever else I bugged everyone about. I have found a few candidates

I am now in the buying market for this vehicle - I have some dealers in Michigan doing work for me, some other dealers told me I am looking for a needle in a haystack and were pretty rude about my request. So hopefully this well help with my search for the G I want.

Thanks so much for all your help over the past few months, I can not wait to officially join the community as a fellow G enthusiast and owner.

Any help finding this G would be greatly appreciated.

2010 - 2011 G37 Sedan, 6MT
Graphite Shadow, Graphite Interior
Under 20k miles
Aero, and Navi Packages
Preferably Midnight Black grill, (but can add that after the fact)other smaller accessories preferred as well but not necessary

If there are any questions feel free to ask!

I was looking for the same (2010) a couple years ago unsuccessfully. I ended up ordering a 2011. Unlike the 2010, the 2011 has the NAV standard. Good luck with your search.

lol, good luck. try cars.com. there was an '11 6MT sedan at a dealer in Oregon somewhere for the past few months, don't know if it's still there. less than 5k miles.

in 2010 i searched for 6 months in Canada to find a 6MT G37 sedan. a coworker's brother was selling his but i didn't like the colour combo (white/grey, no nav). after nothing else turned up - new OR used - i found my car on this forum in the classifieds! i had noticed the car (from Baltimore) a few months earlier but had hoped to find a Canadian unit. i gave up hope and went for the Baltimore unit, had it shipped up the Vancouver and haven't looked back. it was the exact model i wanted, Blue Slate/Graphite, premium, nav, kickplates, trunk lid spoiler, etc...

be patient, your car is out there somewhere...

Using sites like autotrader and cars.com, you can put in quite detailed search criteria. They also let you set distance criteria, upto the whole country.

2011/12's 6mt sedans come fully loaded with all the options (premium, nav, tech, etc..).

I have been using cars.com and autotrader a lot.
I saw this a few days ago, didn't pay it no mind because of no Aero Package.
How much do you think one would cost to put on at a Infiniti Dealership?
Also, I called this dealer (non Infiniti dealer) and they said their prices are firm even before I brought it up. What can I do to crack him? What should be a reasonable price for this with such low miles? Thanks

2011 Infiniti G37 Sport, $36,995 - Cars.com

^^The car should come with 2 smart keys, not one.

What is this aero package you're referring to?

Pre-ttl, I paid $38K for my 2012 with no other options other than splash guards. According to the carfax, that car is just shy of 1 yr old, low miles or not. To pay $37K for a used car like that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Offer them $33K and work from there. Anything more than ~$35K would be too much IMO. Even at that price you need to consider if you're not better off getting a brand new one instead.

The Aerodynamic Package, Infiniti Factory Offered : More aggressive front end, side skirts, and rear spoiler

I don' think its available for the 2012 models though.

Good luck with your search, you're gonna need it. I was in the same boat as you last year. I was searching for a 6MT sedan and let me tell you, they are rare as sh*t if you are trying to look for them used with low mileage. I think my search criteria were 2009+ 6MT sedans and at least on autotrader I could only find about 10 Gs for sale in the entire country that fit that spec. The closest one to me was still a good 600 miles away from Atlanta. My dad then told me about his USAA account and with the discount, it was a better deal to just buy a new one. I paid around 36K for a new 2011 6MT sedan. The dealer quoted me $1400 for the Aero package if I wanted it installed at a later date.

Honestly don't think that's a bad deal. It's basically brand new.

Oh god you didn't know? If you go to the USAA website and login, you'll see that there is a car-buying section. Each manufacturer gives a set discount, I can't remember off the top of my head but it's like 3K off BMW and Mercedes, 8K off Hyundai, and $1000 below invoice for Nissan/Infiniti, etc. So what you do is you spec out the car that you want and then create a quote that is good at participating dealerships who have cars similar to the one you spec'ed out. Print that quote out, walk into dealership, test drive car, say I am willing to pay this price (whatever is listed on the quote) and then drive home with your new car at that price. To be honest, I was wondering why you were thinking of buying used. I saw your comment about deployments and thought you knew about the USAA discount. Last year I was on the bubble between new and used and when my dad told me about the USAA discount I said f*ck used, why not pay the same or possibly $500 more and get it completely new. I'm not sure if the discount applies to used vehicles from a dealership, you might want to look into that. I'm guessing no, but you should do your homework.
