Using manufacturer to dealer cash incentives

How much of the 'dealer incentive' can I reasonably expect to roll into the sale price of a car I'm looking into? Should I shoot for the whole thing? 50%? This is money given from Infiniti that goes right to the dealer and shared with salesperson?

This is what I'm talking about:
Factory-to-Dealer Incentives

FWIW I'm at 'truecar' pricing, but want to use the current incentive to get lower than that.

Also, how often are incentives like is available? Do they usually happen around the same time of year?

Thanks

Take the invoice price, subtract any incentives, then add ~$200-300 for the dealer. That is what I've gotten on the 6 Nissans/Infinitis I've bought in the last 8 years. All of those were the newest available model year and within the 1'st month of that model years release.

Incentives vary month to month, whether thats "Factory to Dealer", "Factory to Consumer", lease specials, finance specials, etc.

Check Edmunds for current incentives.

^I know the incentive is shown as removed for the Dealer Cost, and I'm not doubting you, but what makes you say that full incentive is reflected in the Target Price? Is there a way to pull up a breakdown of the TP or something along those lines? Thanks

edit - I'm interested in purchasing btw

It depends on the incentive, but most incentives unless otherwise listed CAN be used toward a lease.

Because of the math I am a salesperson so I know all

@beer there are actually 90% of the time no factory incentives for leases, only loyalty cash, or near the end bonus cash for a lease. There are some now on the 2011's and 2012 M's but that'd be it

Don't take this the wrong way...but the salesmen I've dealt with seem to know little about anything...even the car they are selling.

Infiniti G Sedan Incentives and Rebates
If you click details on the "Marketing Support" $1000 it clearly states it IS available on the lease. I do understand that sometimes there is a difference between lease/buying rebates which are usually clearly defined.

Since I got my lease at 35,799 for a sticker of 42K and all the incentives and better lease rate where in the deal I'd say ...just about everything is possible

^^ yes but when you bought yours there actually where Lease rebates going on. I can ensure you that there is no Lease rebate on a G Sedan right now. If it was not illegal for me to post up the Factory grids I would, but alas I can not. Edmunds is a great source as is Truecar but keep in mind it is not always 100% accurate. And yes most sales people know nothing, but I am not just a salesperson The deal you received above is the same deal I received on mine and will not happen very often
