Decided on a G37S coupe...now trying to find the best deal in the Southeast

Hello everyone. Long time lurker first time poster here. I've finally decided on a G37S Coupe 6spd as my next car to purchase partly because of the awesome lease money factors and residual values. Now I'm trying to locate one in either black on black or red on black. I contacted my local dealer in Huntsville, AL but they told me they are 'special order cars' and go for MSRP.......ok. So I'm searching the nearest big cities such as Nashville, Birmingham, Memphis, Atlanta, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations as where one might find one and especially where to get the absolute best deal for a customer that is ready to buy? Thanks in advance!!

Try the dealer in annapolis, md, i did it over the internet and got the best deal. He met me halfway between Raleigh (where i live) and Annapolis so i wouldnt have to pay delivery charges. I gave the dealer in Raleigh a chance to match the price and he told me that nobody would sell me a G37x for that cheap. If you have an AMEX card, they have a free car buying service, which will give you a starting price and there's no obligation at all

Thanks for the quick reply! Would you mind telling me what deal in relation to the actual dealer invoice that they gave you?

Try using truecars.com. I got mine for $5,000 below the sticker price. No other dealer came close to the price the truecars.com dealer gave me. Pick your car, choose your options and it gives you the lowest prices in your area. You print out the certificate, take it to one of the truecars.com certified dealers and they honor the price from the website. I basically purchased mine over the phone. Went to the dealer just to sign the paperwork. No haggling or negotiating needed. Best car buyi g experoence I've ever had

Enter your search parameters into sites like cars.com or autotrader.com. Most/all dealers list their cars on those sites making cross country searches easier.

I did have to special order mine, but I did pay below msrp (38K vs 41700 mrsp - pre-ttl).

Thanks! It seems that in my area the 'excellent' or target selling price is around $41,600 which is a couple hundred less than invoice which seems to be a great deal. I just thought I read here that folks were getting theres at like a thousand under invoice.

What a crock of ****.
There's no flooring charge on a S.O., dealer makes more, no reason not to discount.

exactly. the dealer gets to keep the entire holdback.... they should give you a bigger discount, not a smaller one...

Roswell Infiniti in Atlanta is very competitive and one of the better dealerships at locating the 'exact car' that I have dealt with.

Just use Trucar it shows the dealers "selling price" for a range of dealers in your area. Mine was almost 7k off sticker.
