Looking for a G37 Sedan

Hello all, this is my first post on the forums here. I am currently looking for a new G37 Sedan, hopefully the Sport package if not then the Journey with the Nav and Sunroof too. I have owned a Toyota Tacoma X-Runner since 2006 which was my dream car, but unfortunately I was hit on Wednesday on the freeway while going to work. The driver hit me like a cop doing the pit manuever which threw me into a few spins where I was hit again. I am alright but my truck is totaled. I had a lot of $ into it and its paid off so Im looking to get about $20,000 from the insurance. With that $ I am hoping to get a good deal and low payments on a new sedan.

I test drove one on Thursday and I loved it! Only question I have, and Ive tried to research it is. I have a Pioneer Navi H/U and mids, sub etc. It doesnt appear that we are able to take out the stock screen easily and upgrade with a double-din style Navi unit? I also read somewhere on the forums that the doors have 10" speakers?

I know the asking price was $42,000 which is really high. If I have to Ill get a used one, but my goal is a new G37 no more than around $35,000.

Anyway, my name is Jeremy and I am from Sacramento, CA. I hope to catch up more in the forums. Thanks!

Check out truecar for some semi realistic prices to pay.

You don't specify a region, but depending what options you want (6mt?), you'll be hard pressed to find a non awd car anywhere in the snow belt this time of year. In fact, of the research i've done in the last 4 months, I could find no new journey/sport, and a very small handful of 6mt's (which already come 'sported'). The nearest one being about 300 miles away in indianapolis. Ended up ordering mine.

You'll have a tough time integrating an aftermarket HU into this car. Everything is tied into the factory unit - stereo, hvac, various vehicle options/settings, etc. Upgrading the speakers is still a hassle, but more doable than the HU.

if you have good credit (700+) you probably will qualify for a low rate, I've got a 2.9 for 48mos. From your post, you will put down 20k and depending your terms your payment could range from 150 to 350. Again, it determines how much the car is.

Infiniti has 1.9 or 2.9 financing (W good credit) going on until Jan 3rd, you may want to hop on that.

There may be 2011s left, I was able to haggle the price down to 36k brand new (w/o taxes and fees), but ended up going with a 2012.
