Currently I am in the market for a 6-speed manual G37-S Coupe and am looking at 2008 models with between 18k-26k miles.

I don't really need navigation, but does the car come with a backup camera if it doesn't have the navigation package? Also, do all 2008 G37 Sport models come with a USB iPod hookup?

My needs are pretty simple so long as the above criteria is met and I would be SUPER appreciative of any advice from you guys!

Also, is it reasonable to assume I can get one of these for about $25,000? What is the ballpark price range for a non-wrecked car with clean carfax?

Wow, that is lame considering the FX cars all came with backup cameras before 2008 and my wife's 2011 G37 Sedan without Navi came with backup camera AND ipod connection.

When did the ipod connection become standard? Oh well, I guess it doesn't much matter since I can't change reality.

Any idea on pricing a 2008 G37-S 6MT with Navi and 18-26k miles?

You shouldn't have any trouble getting one for 25

im not sure how the 08 is equipped, but i have a '11 and i have the premium package but no Navi...and i have a backup camera and the ipod connection.

you may have a hard time getting one for that price for the miles...might need to willing to get one with 45k+ miles...but i could be wrong.

ps...dont ever ever buy one thats been wrecked...you just never know..

i just recently picked up an 08 G37s auto with navi and i paid 23600 for it. it does have 55k miles on it. gl on ur find.

I drove a 2010 loaner and it had a back up camera and no NAV. It could be different in 2008.

From running a Kelly Blue Book on a 2008 G37-S 6MT w/Navi and 25k miles, it comes back with $29k from a dealer or about $25.8k private sale.

That seems about in line with the 1st car listed above. So since that dealer is asking $29k, how much are they, in general, willing to budge these days?

The more I think about it, the more I wonder why I would pay thousands of dollars more just to have the backup camera and iPod hookup.

Is there an economical way to get those parts installed on a 2008 G37S that doesn't come with Navi? How much could it cost?

Probably not. Probably as much as finding one with Nav will cost.

Well a lot of folks on here have said that they have the backup camera and ipod connection without Navi...as do I.
so i would check into that before trying to make a decision either way.

but just in general...with these cars i doubt you wanna get int he business of trying to hookup a backup camera and ipod connection to the factory setup. i imagine that would be a pain in the a**.

I just purchased a 2008 G37S with NAVI, Rearview Camera, and Ipod connection with 24,382 miles. I paid $24,796 after TT&L. If you go to Texasautodirect.com they have 3 of them for sale.
