Does this sound like a decent deal?

I am new to the site and shopping around for a new vehicle to replace my recently flooded vehicle. I found a 2010 G37x Sedan with about 28k miles on it that I was able to talk with the dealer down to $29,500 OTD. It don't know exactly what packages it has or doesn't have, but it doesn't look like it has a moonroof, but it does have the backup camera and homelink.

Anyway, that price equates to the car selling for about $27k, is that a decent deal or should I keep looking?

If it is a Journey only (what you described) then no, thats a lot of miles for a 2010

Nope, I stated in the original post it is an X, not a Journey. I found out the reason for the miles, it was a rental vehicle for about a year and a half and then went to auction. I am not sure if that is something to be worried about with the 4yr/60k mile warranty though. Thoughts on that?

I would never ever buy a rental. Guess what I do when I have a rental, drive it like it is not mine

X is the same thing as a jouney only (same equipment just awd) meaning non premium. So again as I stated no, it is not a good deal, especially it being a rental now. You can probably find a better equipped model for the same price with less miles (or at least close to it)

X is still not the same thing as Journey when it comes to price though. Sure, it may have the same options as a Journey but the X is still worth more.

Anyway, thanks for the opinions so far. I haven't been able to find any 2010's cheaper than that with less miles so maybe they are all expensive in my area, I don't know.

If you guys have seen 2010's for sale with less miles for less money, post them up

Yeb, Journey + $1600 = x.

Understandable as an x is worth more, but as far as "equipment" is what I was getting at. I sell these I know the market, but also depends on where you live. Resale value though compared to 2wd vs awd is not that high, as far as auction prices go

I did a search on cars.com for cars any distance from me and I didn't really see anything cheaper, especially with less miles. I will keep an eye out and see what pops up, but I am going to need to get a vehicle soon since we are borrowing someone else's car at this point since my wife's car was just totaled due to a flood.

The local Infiniti dealer near me has a 2010 G37S sedan. White/Stone premium/nav/sport
With 22k miles. Selling for $27,930. So ya there is better deals out there. And it is certified. Just dropped price from $30,999. I would jump on it but I want a new graphite shadow. I would never ever ever ever ever ever buy a rental.

I just found one that has a little more than 5k miles and they are asking $27988 which actually seems really good, but it is black and I am not a fan of black vehicles because they are so hard to keep clean (and scratch free).

You're not gonna find many better than that...

now thats a good deal! take it and just keep it clean But you can still work them. The 8 at the end of the price means there is still room. Prob not much but you could squeeze about 500-800 out of them i feel.

Yes, but how is it optioned out? You may find low mileage g's at a price that looks good, but sometimes they are just base (no nav, no sport, no premium and so on). So shop carefully and good luck finding the right one.

Well based on the pictures, it definitely has Nav and a moonroof. I am not sure what is including in the sport/premium packages so I can't tell just by looking at the pictures.
