Best time to buy 2010?

Just talked to a dealership and the 2011 g37s are suppose to come in in October. That said, when will be the best time to buy a 2010 g37? End of this year or beginning of next year and get the best deal?

as soon as the 11's are out, you will be able to get a 10 at a big discount

The closer to 2011 the better the deal is gonna be..., but you have to understand, once 2010 stocks are depleted, there won't be no more 2010s... Thus, you will have less chance finding the spec that YOU want.

I thought the 2011 models won't come out until nearly the end of December?

Does anyone know for sure? A friend of mine wants to buy a 2010 coupe (he doesn't like the 2011 styling as much) and I think he wanted to place a factory order. I wonder if it's too late for him...

If you are looking to buy just any 2010 G37 and price is your only concern, then feel free to wait until the 2011's are released and good luck. If you are looking for a specific model, color, features in the 2010 model you may want to check now and see if it is even available. Keep in mind one of the goals of Infiniti is to sell every last 2010 before the 2011 arrives.

truth, you'll get about $7 or $8 grand off a loaded coupe, but those things are about $44k in the first place and those options don't give the car much additional value in 5 years.

if you want a journey that's $39k for something like $32k they're all probably gone now.

when i went in Jul my dealer only had 2 base and the rest were loaded and around $40k.

so i went with a $37k coupe with a cap cost of $33,500.

i realize at the end of the year you can get a coupe with a HUGE discount on a loaded model (only things that are going to be left) in some UGLY color like light silver with a wheat interior and it will still end up costing more than a base even after discounts.

i prefer to spend less since I don't think a tech and navi package are worth the $7 grand in the first place. yeesh, packages are where dealerships get u.

here's the issue -- not many 2010's are left... usually we'd be stuck with them before the new model year. It's supply and demand right now so if you are not picky, take what you can if it is in stock

you can't judge it by last year --- it was different with the "recession" we were encountering. 2011's will be out earlier than january when the 2010's finally arrived.

bought mine Oct 21 last year. they were anxious to move models then, and the new ones come out in January.

like some have said here, between now and end of year depending on what you want and where you can find it.
