Im a college student that is currently driving a '04 maxima. Its an alright car, but im looking to move up in the world. My dream car is a '70-'73 trans am, but that isnt really going to happen atm. So i just recently have been looking at infiniti and i love their cars. I first test drove the '08 g35xS sedan which i thought was a great ride. Then a couple weeks later i saw a '08 g37S. So im looking more to buy the coupe, but was hoping for some feedback before purchasing. Such as..Pros and Cons of both. These are some things iv read before. Oh, and they both came with every package available.
The coupe has squeky suspension, if the radio goes out the A/C goes out, i noticed the rims were all scrathed up ..you cant even buff it out (also saw it on other g37s rims). Thanks everyone

 

I went with the G37 over the G35 just because I felt it looked nicer. I test drove both and the G37 sounds nicer and the interior is a lot better. It's all up to you though with looks and performance though..even though the G37 exceeds them all haha

 

since you are a college student, do you have a budget constraint?

it sounds like the coupe has some problems, so factor that into the cost of ownership. what is the mileage on the cars? do you know who the previous owner was? are you leaning toward the coupe JUST because of how it looks? from the info given, it sounds like the sedan is a better choice
