I know you can buy more miles from Infiniti. I am not sure whether they re cheaper or not.

I called IFS and they said no. Do you know who I would contact? She had no clue.

ha ha, i already tried driving only in reverse. 75 in reverse is a challenge and I still got miles.

i know when my ex leased a beemer a couple years ago she was able to buy extra miles @ .16 cents per, instead of the .20 cents overage fee when she returned it.

How many more months do you have left on the lease?

If I remember correctly IFS is the correct party to contact. I looked at the owners section of Official Infiniti USA Site | Infiniti Luxury Cars, Crossovers and SUVs under lease end and found this contact "Lease Customer Network at 1.800.887.5155 (8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., CST)."

Youre only penalized if you turn it back into Infiniti. You can sell the car outright for your payoff, or you can trade it in on a new one, then it doesnt matter.

If you stick with another Infiniti they may cut you some slack on the miles.

Typically, IFS allows a $500 "excess damage, wear/tear" allowance at the end of the lease.

This typically covers small dings, dents, nicks, front bumper repaints, and curb rash, but will also cover miles.

Assuming you have ZERO other damage, it would be good for an extra 2500 miles

The factor is what your car is worth (current market value) vs payoff (residual + remaining payments).

This rarely works out in your favor; most deals like this simply involve the dealer making the remaining payments for you, and rolling it into the new lease/loan; they simply return the car, rather than taking it in as a trade.

I've done all 3 with my past 3 infinitis. Traded the first one in, got $1000 equity out of it to put on my next lease without having to go thru lease end inspection. The second one I sold for the payoff after a year. The 3rd one I just turned in.
