if you still owe that much on your 08 I would just keep that and pay it off...there is no reason to be paying 2 car payments while only having 1 car to drive

keep the 08, pay it off, then see if you are in the market for a new G.

i wouldn't have the 08 coupe payment anymore infiniti would take it.. it would be paid off from them with the 25k that there giving me 6k would go towards the down on the new one about 1500 of that is all the fees tho and first payment

The problem is we don't really know how much his car should be worth. If the '08 is just a journey w/ premium...has plenty of miles with $3500 paint damages, 25k might be too high. Dealers like to offer more for trade in to make buyers feel better.

With that kind of equity in your 08 you shouldn't put anything down. I got a 2010 7AT Journey coupe with nav/premium/sport on a 15k/year lease for $549/mo with just first month and acquisition fee up front. If you could get a deal similar to that you could take your $6k in equity and use it to pay your first 11 months of payments. I wish I could have done that but I just got even money on my 08....

EDIT** I forgot, I got VPP pricing on mine ($39k OTD/$45k MSRP).

he's only putting $4500 down, not $6k

White G, rule of thumb is for every $1k you put down...is approx $30 on your monthly payment. Why dont you try that if you dont mind paying a little more a month.

how long is the lease for?
