buying today need advice please

Hello, I've been wanting a G for sometime now and Its come time to purchase one. However I want to check with the more knowledgeable members to see if this is a good deal.

2008 black G37S coupe
-6spd
-18k miles
-nav
-backup cam

$30,500?

The only problem with this one is , it has 3 curbed rims and as a deal breaker I'm going to have them refinished before purchasing.I looked at a smiliar one without the navigation or cam and they are asking 32.5k
Let me know thanks

I think it's a good price if the car is clean-no accident.

that's a good price. I think the kbb is actually higher than 30 for a 6speed premium nav. ... the 2010 haven't been released yet. I would imagine in 3 months they will all be about this price next year.

wheel repair is cheap. that's not a deal breaker... you can get those things refinished for like 80-100 bucks per or just sell them for like 1000 and buy a like new set second hand for 1400. or heck buy some aftermarket wheels and reuse the tires.

deal breaker is body work, not doing service intervals, leather cracking, color... or like license plate holes...

but in the end all that real matters is if you feel it's a good price (based on all the information you have... which is A LOT) and whether or not you can afford it. that's all it really comes down to. the car is still under warranty so it'll be fine as well as it's ok visually.

Unfortunately, luxury/performance car buying is more emotion than logic. You just have to be happy at the end of the day.. if not you're better off buying like something else. for example a 370z would be nice at this pricing level... ha

ok

Thanks, yeah I just found out from another dealer thats owns the same dealership that the car is at, that it had some kind reconditioning. The salesman was a little sketch on giving the service report before but I'm going to have to check it out regardless. My only other option is the slate blue color same price. I appreciate all the info. Hope to be on here alot more once this hassle is all over.

yeah that's something you'll def want. the dealership, if they have the information, shouldn't be able to withhold it.

carfax report should have it on there as well. (hopefully, assuming they went to a credible business for the repair) but I've had a purchase before that had this problem, the body work didn't show up on the carfax. but turns out the body work was pretty poor according myself and even worse from professionals.
