IFS Payments Online

Hey sorry mods if this is off topic, I really wasn't sure where to post this. I was considering off-topic but it still seems on-topic? Ah, if it needs to be deleted/moved, I sincerely applogize.

I was just curious, when you guys make the payments online, are you able to use a credit card? I see a processing fee for a credit card, but when I get down to the payment part, it only shows me ATM Card / Electronic Check options. I did an electronic check, but I was just curious if there was a way to do credit card, as it would be easier for me. I try to put everything on my CC, and then pay it off at the end of the month.

Also...If I made the payment tonight, and it's due tomorrow is it still on-time? Is there a grace period? I'm just unsure since I used an electronic check, I know it takes some time to process...

Thanks again, and sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot.

I'm fairly certain there is like a 7 day grace period. I know for our loan through Infiniti we have a 7 day grace period. Also you do get charged to make a CC payment.

I pay my VW payment all online w/ no charge, if there is anything I hate about the Infiniti is the extra charges, this sucks.

Yep, the 5 dollar charge is ridiculous in my opinion.

It says E checks, not credit cards. It also took me forever to figure out where to click to see the payments i already made. A few days should not matter.

Yup no way around the online payment $5 fee. Generally with CC's the grace period is 5 days they won't issue a late payment or put anything down on your credit report. It might be different with IFS, like some say it could be 7 days, but I figure if I get it in within 5 days, I'm ok either way. I typically issue an electronic payment through my online banking, no fee, but it is essentially just my credit union mailing a check to them.

IFS says in the little writing at the bottom of the website you can make a one-time payment by DISCOVER CC.. there's a one-time payment link i've clicked that takes you to a page with a field to put in your card number..
