Pricing two cars...which is the better deal?

Car 1: 2008 G37 automatic coupe with premium package, sports package, spoiler, illuminated kick-plates, splash guards, trunk mat, cargo net. $40,500 out the door with taxes and all included (I'm not doing the $2,000 incentive). Price before taxes and all that is about $38,000

Car 2: 2009 G37 automatic coupe with premium package, sports package, navigation, spoiler, illuminated kick-plates, splash guards, trunk mat, cargo net. $45,000 out the door with taxes and all included (again, no $2,000 incentive). Price before taxes and all that is $42,000

Do you think the dealership can go lower on either car?
Also, since most of you have 2008, has anyone had any major issues besides the exhaust rattle?

Thanks very much for answering my questions and I hope to be posting soon telling everyone I got my new car!

Yes the car is brand new, less than 50 miles. I am located in Georgia. I'm not really looking for a used car right now...been in one of those long enough.

Car 1 is a terrible deal. Last month I got an 08 loaded coupe new for less than 36 and .9% so there were no rebates included.. From my experience they were really trying to move the 08's so you can probably work that down another few K.

I know my car is not brand spanking new, but it is an 08 with only 3500 miles on it, and its fully loaded, automatic journey with the sports package, premium, navi, and I added alot of goodies to it already too, Stillen gen 3 intake, greddy ti-c exhaust, added the oem rear spoiler, roof spoiler, front stillen splitter, stillen sway bar, eibach springs, upgraded 8k hid with 8k hid foglights, ground kit, gtspec strut bar, every lights been upgraded to led, even the sunvisors have led bulbs in them, a genuine carbon fiber dashkit thats silver in color, looks exactly like the lexus IsF oem dash trim. I understand if im trying to sell you a 05 or a 06 but my cars only 8 months old and its never been in an accident, no dings, nothing. Only reason, im selling it is because I want a 4dr now. I also have a set of 20 rims for it, I took off the factory 19s when I had 300miles on the car so the oem rubbers are still like brand new with the nubbies still on it. Just letting you know thats all. I figure that I try to save you a few bucks and sell you my car for $38,000 obo. I paid $39'300 for it brand new and it stickers at $44,020 I still have all original stickers and paperwork. I got $5000 in upgraded parts alone, and thats not a penny labor added to it. If you ask alot of the members here, they will all agree that my car is a pretty good buy.
