my Socal Price - Buy G37 Journey Sedan + Prem, Nav, Sports

Hey all,
Just wanted to say thanks for a great site. I'm trading in my '03 G35 Sedan for a 09' G37 Journey, Auto, Prem, Nav, Sports.

Of course, the dealer extras are Illum Kick Plate, Splash Guards, Trunk Mat, Cargo Net.

$36,875 before TTL. Curious to see if any other SoCal folks got something better. With the cashback, worthy to note, I'm buying through my Credit Union most likely.

Don't forget, sales tax in SoCal goes up 4/1 - so buy those G's early!

Where you getting this at? Seems like a great deal as dealer invoice on that is over $40k. Dang!

Last month I purchased a new G37 Sedan from Infiniti of Montclair (IoM) in Southern California and was very pleased. I live in San Diego so I started at Kearny Mesa Inifiniti. They did not want to give me a price until I settled on the car because "it's not about the price." If it wasn't about the price for me I wouldn't be buying an Infiniti so I kept looking. Tried an Infiniti in Carlsbad and the salesman wanted to be my neighbor buddy. Didn't trust them so moved on. At Escondido Inifiniti worked with Robert Snieder and he was great - low pressure, straight talk. Went by the dealership one day to try an "S" model and since Robert was tied up I talked to Ivan about the car. He must have read "Confessions of a Salesman" on edmunds.com because he followed every step they warned us about so I left until I could work with Robert again. But in the end Robert couldn't match the price of IoM. Tustin claimed they were going to meet the IoM deal but didn't get back to me until about a week after I bought my car. Got pointed to IoM because they were the closest Infiniti dealer working with Costco. Costco deal was $1200 over invoice but you can certainly get a better deal than that right now. I worked with Vahe the Internet Sales guy there. We worked the deal over the phone while I was comparing his deal to Escondido and Tustin. Drove the 100 miles up there and got exactly the deal we worked out. They asked me about the usual add-ons (warranty, paint sealant, etc) but when I declined they didn't push it. Had a little ding in the door so they sent someone down to San Diego in a loaner, picked up my car, fixed the ding and brought the car back to me. So I strongly recommend trying Vahe at Infiniti of Montclair (http://infinitiom.com/ (909) 625-8990).
