I just went out and bought a very slightly used 08 G37-S Coupe Black/Black @ 6k miles loaded on Friday night.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who posts here. I couldn't have made the deal that I made without all the good info on this site.

Dealer was offering for $34k. I got it for $31k.

I've been driving a 1995 G-20 for about 6 years now and got her to 200,000 miles before upgrading. Obviously, this is a huge step up and worth every penny.

damn you drive 50 miles to work? so that's 50 miles home? 100 miles a day for just the commute to and from work? damn that's a lot of miles!

 

Thankfully, I only do it 3-4 times a week. The fact that I was going to put so many miles on this car was a big concern. I've actually been contemplating buying a little commuter car for 10 grand. BUT... A car like this is meant to be driven. At least it's all highway. Even though I'm driving through LA, I leave early enough from home (530am and early enough from work 300pm to not hit traffic.

G20?.....WOW, that is a serious upgrade. That car is the red headed step child for Infiniti. Not their greatest moment. You should be very happy.

I know the G20 was the bastard stepchild of Infiniti but I couldn't have asked for a more reliable car. And I got 150k miles off the first clutch. Sometimes I didn't have to spend money on her for years and replacement parts were insanely cheap. I may keep her around as a beach car when I play vball tournaments up and down the coast so I don't get the G37 sandy. Noone wants that.
