2008 models on the lot until when???
2008 models on the lot until when???
here's the deal...hopefully someone here can answer my question.
i want to take advantage of the bargaining-ability of a 2008 g37 rather than buy a 2009. however, my question is, how long will the dealerships keep the 08's on their lots before they are all gone and/or replaced with 09's? thanks for the help

From my recent research, most 2008 G37's left are the Journey models without sports package. Most G37S are gone, manual or automatic, and I've also found out that Infiniti is allocating a lot of loaded 2009 G37 coupes to the dealers.
I really only want a 6MT G37S with no options at all but those are hard to come by it seems.

thanks for the help and responses. i will either be in LA or Nashville when i get a g37, so hopefully those dealerships in that area will be able to scour the nat'l inventory to find a 6MT 2008 g37. but the way it is looking, i will probably have to settle for a 2009....thanks again
Im in chicago and just leased my g37s. its a 2008. i can tell you that one infiniti dealer here in the chicago burbs has 23, yes 23 08 coupes in every configuration on his lot. the other inifiniti dealer (where i got my car from) had about 8 of them, one of which was a S (the one i leased)
23??? dang! hopefully they still have a bunch of the 2008's when i get back stateside next month so i can get my nashville or LA dealership to do a swap. thanks for the head's up
If you really want an '08, look around in the midwest. There's '08s all over the place in the Midwest because no one out here is buying cars. Dealerships probably won't be very helpful in finding an '08 at a different dealership though. They want to get rid of their own inventory first, so they're either gonna try to sell you one of their own '08s or else talk you into an '09. So if one dealership tells you that there aren't any '08s at any other dealerships, politely walk out and shop around yourself, because odds are they're just trying to sell you an '09.
