That's a ridiculously high price on a 08. Like most people say, on a 08 the most you should pay for (considering how bad the economy is), is invoice.

I got my g37 this past wednesday for 200 under invoice. I got like 3 different quotes from different dealers and the dealer I bought it from said that they can beat it because they really wanted my business so they made it 200 under invoice and I talked the financing guy to give me the free 7 year matiance warrenty and also I got 0% financing. =).

I think I am just going to sit back at this point. The guy from Atlantic Infiniti sent me a pitiful response (even after I pretty much told him that I was moving on).

When I originally talked to him he said that there price was $1500 below MSRP if I did not take the special financing or MSRP if I took advantage of the financing (since they have to actively buy down the rate).

Thanks to the folks on this forum I found out that the rate is coming from Infiniti and the dealer has the choice between the financing rate or $1000 marketing incentive so basically he wanted to see me the car for $500 under MSRP after all was said and done.

I dont really trust him anymore and since I dont HAVE to have a car I can just sit back....funnily when I talked to him he made it sound like last week was very busy with them with lots of buyers so I told him that he doesn't have anything to worry about since he can sell the car without a problem.

yeah good choice since you dont need a car just sit back until the 09's start going down and if they start giving away 0% financing.

also i feel your pain about a salesman being a jackass. the first dealer i went to the salesman was being a **** and said the 08's were still in deman was i stright up said im leaving and didnt talk to him since but the last dealership (where i bought my car) they were very cool and said we will match any deals since they told me they have to get rid of the 08 fast.

dont know who shane is but like i said, i know the sales manager personally. hes the 1 who gave me the pricing on my car without my sales guy even knowing what it was. all they do is read off what they know from a book. i got my 09 for $500 over invoice without even negotiating so i can get you just as good a deal on an 08. combine that with the 0.9% financing for 60 months ifs is offering and thats a hell of a deal. i just had to have an 09 with 7at since i wanted auto but thats me.

i agree - $1500 below MSRP is a ripoff... you can get $1000 below invoice... with the 0.9% financing..I did... in mid nov.

LOL, the dealers around here wont return emails appropriately. I am not certain they want to sell. I sure as heck am not chasing them down.

Hey Dash, who is your dealer? Sounds like an awesome deal. What options did you get?

I would definitely buy on the spot if they offered me something similar.

Respond here or private me.

Thanks!

Im looking at the 09 or 08 6mt, nav... basicly fully loaded, in a sedan or coupe.
My wife wants the coupe. Does anyone know what the invoice is on those two cars?

After reading through this thread, Im sure, I can get at invoice... they need to move these cars. i was told, they wont be ordering anymore for the 1st quater of the year.
