Went down to the dealer today inquiring about a late feb 09 delivery of a MW G37S with premium, nav, spoiler. He was saying it was coming to around 44k and that they might be able to take $1500 off. I'd thought people were getting more than that off. He said that end of Feb is getting to around Coupe season, so they start not discounting them as much.

I told him I was going to check with the other dealers to see what they could do, although he said that when they went and looked that they didn't have any MW coupe with those specs coming in, but they would try and divert one. So I assume everyone would have the same problems finding one. Anyone think I should be getting more off?

 

yea you should. I'm about to pick up a 09 g37x coupe and dealer is offering it to me for $50 over invoice with nav. and prem. package. they only have two on their lot right now.

 

Where are you located? Currently buying the same car and scheduled to pay VPP.

How did you get that deal? My guy is telling me that they are decreasing their coupe production and that Feb is the beginning of coupe season, etc, etc and that they'll maybe come down $1500, but certainly nothing near invoice.

 

I bought mine with VPP and tell you at some point I will post the story here. Bottom line: the dealers are so greedy (still) even now....I ended up being treated the worst I have seen by the sales manager. Ended up being given nothing for free, not even the freakin' wheel locks. Greed greed is all they know.
Personally I don't believe anything the dealers are telling me, just BS.
If you want it then buy it.
