How about this price for 08' G37?

Guys, I'm negotiating a 08' G37 now. I'm asking for a black/blue slate with sport, premium and nav package. One of the dealer saying that he can offer me the car with the price around 38.5K or lower. Is that a decent offer? Or how much should I ask for? This will be my first time buying a new car so you guys opinion is very important to me. Tks for your help.

Yes that's a pretty good deal. Can you go lower? Sounds like you have some more bargaining room.

Yes I think I can get it a little bit more. However I'm kind of hesitating whether I should buy or lease this vehicle. I tried to get a finance quote from one of the dealer but he said although my credit score is good enough, I don't have a long enough credit history for 0.9% APR. For that reason, I'm thinking of maybe leasing the car will be a better option for me, what you guys think?

I just got a quote for 41135 OTD. with 0.9% for 60 month so each month is about 550. Also I got a leasing quote for 430/month for 39 month. Residual price is 26000. How's this deal?

Keep financing separate from the car price. The first dealer I went to I made the mistake of saying I was interested in the 0.9% financing. Their price didn't even hit invoice.

When I told another dealer that I had pre-approved financing from my credit union and we would talk about financing after we agreed on a price, I was given an offer for the same car/options at invoice less $1,000.

So you'll end up paying in interest or the car price but you have to keep the new car purchase, financing, and trade in all separate transactions. Whichever vendor gives you the best deal for each of those is what you take.

How many miles? Any cap-reduction?

10K miles per year...and I'm not sure about cap reduction. How many cap reduction will be better?
