2009 Pricing

Not sure if this is legit, but found this on Topspeed.com 2009 pricing- looks like $1K diff. from 2008.

Infiniti will increase its pricing on the 2009 G37 coupe. Compared to the 2008 model year, most increases are about $1000. Pricing are as follows: the standard G37 coupe is now $35,900 (up from $34,900 in 2008), G37x AWD is $38,700, G37 coupe in Journey trim is $36,650 (up from $35,650 in 2008) and the G37S in 6MT trim is priced at $37,000 (up from $36,200).

Infiniti believes that with these increased prices there is also increased value. Highway mpg goes from 24 mpg to 26 on 2009 rear wheel drive models. A new color "Moonlight white" is added to replace ivory pearl. Also, for an extra $130, 2009 models have an optional glass breakage sensor.

So, you can go to the dealer now and get a 2008 model, or pay $1000 more and wait and for a 2009 model with better fuel economy and new options.

Thanks to David for the tips

Moonlight white sounds very interesting. Might look a lil yellowish. So what does the numbers look like on the 09 conv?

I think it's the one used on the FX and M class. It looks practically the same.

How do you figure its $1000 more for the 09 when the 08's are selling @ invoice. You think you can get an 09 for invoice price? HAH. More like a 3-5K difference in price my friend.

Um it's MSRP increase, not current selling price.

no **** sherlock. But he stated not to pickup an 08 because you could get an 09 for +1000$ more. That is not true since 08 do not sell at sticker and 09 DO. HELLOOOOOOooOOoo

The whole article has bee comparing MSRP, not current selling price. So paying $1000 more is true because it's comparing to the MSRP on the 08, NOT current selling price.

Thank you Keng- all I was doing is sharing some info I found- I never said not to pick up an 08.

I've been holding out for the '09 and thought I'd share no doubt would I nor anyone in their right mind pay MSRP, but it gives you a baseline for the increase, which as Blackjack said is typical and considering the upgrades more than fair.

Do you realize the whole original post is copy/paste? Angelsfan didn't say anything.
