Couldn't have said it better myself. Personally, I think buying is only worthwhile if you keep the car over 6-7 years. Then it becomes way cheaper than leasing. I'm not inclined to keep a car that's out of warranty though. I'd rather know how much I'm paying every month than have the car surprise me with a $3,000 transmission replacement out of the blue.
