Hey guys, a friend of mine just got this quote on a G35 sedan from a delear in Grand Rapids, MI, which is on the west coast of Michigan. Its about 2 hour drive from Detroit area, but the deal looks worth it.

It involves the $2000 customer cash incentive going on right now, but not sure if its offered for the coupe. He's only interested in the sedan, but I'd thought I'd ask here since there's no "Buying & Leasing" thread in g35driver.

Yeah i figured.. but if he gets like too high of a APR then its just worth it to take the loss on the incentive and get the better rate, would it not? In the end it would come out to a bigger savings than 2000.

 

Also remember less price on the car is less on the registration and tax. We need the rate to make proper decision.

Depending on the amount financed (in other words, how much down) you'll save more with special APR in the long run.

As long as you are financing a decent amount, the 1.9% APR will save you more money in the long run.

 

You are correct that you cannot combine the 1.9% APR with the $2000 cash back, but they offered 4.99% APR.

He has a trade in value of $12,000 for his 2004 Altima sedan, so he would be financing @22,391 for 60 months @ 4.99% APR.
