This is my first post but I have been lurking here for a few months and want to thank Dave, Cerritos Infiniti, and all the helpful people in here for all the valuable info.

 

Well, I do vouch for Dave @ Cerritos Infiniti, but I still hate their service department.

Just picked up Journey Liquid Platinum with Premium/Nav, and 19 inch wheels. In and out within an hour. Great dealership, great transaction. Best part of the deal was signing the finance papers. Cute finace lady!! Kudos to Dave for hiring her!!

 

Tuptup - what were the "fees"? Is the destination fee included in fees? Thanks.

Destination is included in the invoice price. Fees are about 2900 in taxes and the rest are DMV fees.

 

Congrats man. Cerritos was one of the first dealers I contacted when I was looking for my my G. One of their sales guys was very easy to deal with and he helped me out a lot, and it was all done via phone & email. Although he made me change my mind about going to them after we got talking about my trade, and I told him about how I was dealing with another dealer and he gave me the line "we don't play games", and that was pretty much it for me dealing with them.

 

^^ not a dealership on this planet that doesn't play games lmfao!!!

 

^That's obvious, but to state it the way he did, just wasn't good business practice, especially when you're trying to do a sale. I'm in sales myself, and I would never state that unless I knew we were the only company that has that product and everyone when to us for that product.

Some of these people are oblivious to the fact there are plenty of other dealers out there. Obviously they lost your business to another dealer where you got your G.

 

And that's exactly why he walked. Don't even sweat it - JUST WALK. Plenty of other dealers that don't cop a 'tude.

I've talked to Cerritos of Infiniti before, and I assure you they will not be getting my business. And we're in the market for 2 new cars this year - an SUV and a coupe. I will lose no sleep by going to another dealer.

The best sales line i hate to hear is, "If I can make you a good deal, would you be willing to take a car home today?" I wanna smack dealers when i hear them say that. What kind of dumb question is that? No if you give me the most incredible deal of a life time I'm not going to take it. One sales guy wanted me to sign a hand written statement that if he made me a good deal I would buy a car from him. I laughed so hard. Then told him to stop jerking me off and get me a price or a sales manager. This was on a different car, my infiniti was simple to get.
