Going to the dealer in a few hours. Am I being realistic for southern cali?

I'm off to my dealer within a few hours to discuss a lease on a g37.

Nada.com lists the invoice on the car i want at about $39,100 (g37s, 6mt, prem, navi, etc)

I'm looking for 24 month / 12K miles.

Could someone school me on what taxes/fees I should be expecting? What are the April money factors/residuals?

Any chance I could pull this off with at most a $2k drive off and low $500/month tax included?

thanks!!

Yup...I got qouted $1600 drive off ($0 down) and roughly over $500 a month for 39 month lease. It was for a g37s 6mt, premium, navi, kick plates, splash guards, trunk mats/net. You should be able to do it, which dealership are you going to?

you're not being unreasonable at all.. I'm sure they'll do it.. I would call before hand.. normally they're more willing to make a deal so they can get you into the dealership. When you just walk in it seems you have to haggle a lot more.

I got quoted invoice, with a mf of .00194, residual was 72 or 73%, 24 month, 12k/yr - ~$800 drive off, $530/month tax included.

I didn't get it though...I'm gonna see if I can get into a Z4 M Coupe for a similar amount

Easy now, I made the move here to Cerritos recently and I will be bringing along with me my reputation of honesty and value to this establishment.

So Dave, would you be able to qoute me a g37 at invoice? I'm currently trying to get an IP g37 6mt w/ premium, navi, kick plates, splash guards, trunk mats/net...I don't think any of the local dealerships (van nuys, glendale, t.o., santa monica) have one in stock. Let me know what you can do...

I have your car in stock right now, however I'm getting calls from others that want to trade it and I'd rather sell it. If you want this vehicle, pick up your phone and call me or it will get sold to someone else.

BTW, South Bay is an Auto Nations "Power" store; anyone in the automotive business just knows what that means. *shudder*

Dave, thanks for your help so far. I guess we're just going to have to wait it out and check if those dealers that have my car want to give it up to you guys.

BTW, can you let me know what the lease numbers are for May? Residuals and MF for 39 month lease? Thanks.

Also, what do you mean that South Bay is an Auto Nation "power" store? I called them and they don't have my car but that they have it at another dealership and can have it shipped.

Ryan

Ryan, I should have rates and residuals later in the day to factor it.

South Bay, Tustin, and the former Costa Mesa store (they just shut down last night) are all part of the Auto Nations, commonly known here in Southern California as "Power" stores (Nevada they are "Desert" and Texas is "Champion" for example). They don't have the best track record as a corporate group with consumers. In fact, I believe they are still in tax trouble here in the state of California to this day. Bottom line, they don't seem to care about their clients and guests with regards to sales and service and IMO is one of the reasons why people hate buying cars to this day due to their games.

[\soapbox]

Call me later so we can work on something for you in time for when your current lease matures.
